Emser Therme: what you need to know

Below is the information you need for your first visit:

You can choose your own locker/cabinet. Each chip locks one locker and one cabinet. To lock, hold the chip against the lock. A light will flash. Turn the lock to the left. To open, once again hold the chip against the lock. Make sure to remember your locker/cabinet number! You will find lockers for storing valuables situated behind the reception area in the entrance.

Eating

The Emser Therme offers a wide and reasonably-priced range of food and drinks, both in the SaunaPark and in the ThermenLandschaft, so no-one needs to go hungry. In the foyer you can dine in your normal clothes, before or after your spa visit.

Rental items

Towels, bathrobes and blankets can be rented at reception.
The rental fee for a bathrobe is € 10
The rental fee for a sauna towel is € 5

All rental items are cleaned by a cleaning company after each rental. This is how we meet our own high hygiene standards.

Entrance and cashless payment

Emser Therme has a cashless payment system that involves the use of a chip bracelet given to you at the cash desk. Once inside, additional services such as restaurant visits or massages are booked onto your chip bracelet and paid for on departure in cash or using an EC bank/credit card.

Hygiene and safety

Please shower before using the swimming pools or saunas. This will help maintain our high water-quality and hygiene standards. In the saunas, please place a sauna towel beneath you.
If you wear bath slippers, this will lower the risk of slipping and accidents.

Regard for others

Please be considerate to others and refrain from reserving loungers and seating. Baskets are available for your storage needs. Our employees have been instructed to clear reserved loungers if and when necessary.

Time allowance

A chip station is located between the spa and the sauna, allowing you to check your remaining time allowance.

When leaving the spa, please remember to take all your personal belongings with you and leave the cabinet open. If you have any outstanding payments to make, please consult our check-out staff. Otherwise you can leave the spa directly through the turnstile.
